Course Structure and Curriculum.
Our course is designed to provide a strong foundation while progressively building advanced skills. Beginners start with essential exercises like Swarasthanas (note placement), Sarali Varisai (sequential exercises), Alankaras (melodic patterns), and Geethams (simple compositions). These exercises develop vocal control, pitch accuracy, and rhythmic understanding.As students advance, they explore Raga Alapana (improvisational exploration of ragas), Kalpana Swarams (improvised swara patterns), Neraval (elaborative variations), and the complex Ragam Thanam Pallavi, which showcases creative improvisation and virtuosity. Students also learn traditional Varnams, Kritis, and Bhajans that form the core repertoire of Carnatic music.
